Duke Street Food and Drink Market is hosting Santa’s Stories over the festive period.
During two Saturdays in December in the run up to Christmas, the market will hold Santa’s Stories on the mezzanine, inviting children to come and enjoy a Saturday morning story where they’ll also receive a Christmas gift for £10 per child.
At 11am-12pm on Saturday 7th and Saturday 21st December, guests can join Santa at Duke Street Market for Christmas stories such as The Snowman and The Nightmare Before Christmas.
They’ll then be able to sit with Santa to tell him all of their Christmas dreams and wishes.
Guests are welcome to visit the market before story time to tuck into one of the many breakfast dishes from the kitchens including Bone and Block, Finca, Indigo Greens and Cinder.
Alternatively, guests can stay after they’ve visited Santa and soak up the festive atmosphere and beautiful Christmas decorations with lunch from any of the six kitchens and enjoy a few mulled wines.
Tickets are limited and so booking is essential via:

Lee Bannon-Smith, Duke Street Market’s General Manager, said: “Christmas is such a special time of year and we wanted to do something a little bit different at the market. Children can come and gather around to experience Santa’s special stories.
“They’ll also receive a Christmas gift so it’s a really nice way to start your Saturday. We have a fantastic breakfast menu so guests can come by before, or stick around after, and we’re a stone’s throw from the city centre if you want to do your Christmas shopping.”
